This tea set is one of the only pieces that I used clear glaze on and felt very comfortable with. I think that colored glaze is one of the most incredible assets of ceramics but I felt that this set would be able to stand out on its own and show its form and beauty without changing the color of the clay. However, I did utilize brushing on some pink color on the inside and outside of these pieces to accent the crazing (lines in the glaze) and the pink candle wax inside of the cups.
