Process

This project was meant to highlight the beautiful landscapes of Death Valley, CA while also bringing the viewer to attempt to make sense of the object in the sky. I used rocks I found on the ground to create these islands in the sky. I would practice throwing rocks, in the same way, so I would be able to manually focus the lens to the spot. This gave me the ability to have the camera prefocused on the islands. This resulted in a beautiful product of capturing a moment in time. These images were solely edited using Adobe Lightroom.
